LAMONI, IOWA  Grand View traveled to Graceland University to toe the line against another conference opponent on Tuesday. The Vikings won nine of the ten weights, which included eight bonus point victories. GV took the battle by a score of 45-3 against the Yellowjackets and continued their dual success.  

To start the night, No. 3 Gabe Gonzales received a forfeit at 125 pounds which led straight into the 133-pound bout. No. 2 Jackson Cockrell earned himself a 15-0 victory and started the train of 6 consecutive TFs for the Vikings. Ben Murphy dominated with his relentless pace onto a 16-1 TF at 141. At 149 pounds, Khyler Carstarphen didn't give up a single point onto a 16-0 tech. Elijah Larsen took the mat next, moving up to 157 pounds. Larsen received a 22-5 TF to make it four straight. No. 3 ranked Cam Robinson made an appearance at 165 and showed dominance, gaining a 19-2 TF in decisive fashion. No. 1 Alex Reynolds followed, taking the mat at 174 pounds. Red showed determination onto a 17-1 tech fall of his own. GV's only loss of the night came at 184 pounds in a hard fought 9-7 decision. No. 1 Garavous Kouekabakilaho got the Vikings back on track, with a quick first period fall at 197 pounds. At heavyweight, Cole Mair ended the night for Grand View with a 5-0 decision. 45-3 was the final and another dominate showing for your top ranked Vikings.
