Ozark MO - In an elimination game the Vikings were matched up with the statesmen of William Penn. Grand View lost the regular season series to the Statesmen in the final conference matchup of the season. This will be game number two on the day looking to keep their postseason chances alive. 

Elimination Game - The Vikings would get on the board in the bottom of the 1st with an RBI from Nolan Drill his 33rd on the season. The Statesmen would retake the lead in the top of the third 3-1 but that would be short-lived as Hank Himrch would single on an 0-2 pitch tying the game at three all. The Vikings would find themselves behind 12-4 after the top of the eighth inning. Grand View's late rally would fall short as they would score six runs in the final two innings. The rally would be started on a balk where Johnson would score setting up an RBI single for Broekemeier to cut the lead to six. Heinen would reach on a fielder's choice to bring across another, along with a Canny single to cap off a four-run inning. Two runs in the bottom of the ninth is all the Vikings could palate stranding a runner at first to conclude the game. The offense would collect 15 hits in the contest while also stranding 15 runners on base.
