KEARNEY, NEBRASKA – Thursday night saw action between two championship-level programs. The dual that has gone on between DII NCAA powerhouse Nebraska Kearney and top-ranked Grand View was sure not to disappoint. The Vikings won the last two out of three meetings but would fall just short 18-17 this time around.

Aden Reeves remained undefeated in his dual debuts Thursday evening when he kicked things off for the Vikings at 125 with three points and a 10-5 decision win over the 6
th-ranked wrestler in division II, Zach Ourada.
Carson Taylor, the number one wrestler at 133, eased through his match over Drew Arnold via a 17-0 TF. After dropping a match at 141, No. 1 Gonzalez picked things back up for the Vikings as he won a 5-3 decision over John Burger, moving to 2-0 versus the Lopers in his career as a Viking.
Tanner Abbas would run a gritty match on his return to dual action but fell by SV-1 to Nicholas Stoltenberg.
Justin McCunn comforted the Vikings lead three more points after a 4-2 decision over Kaden Hart.
Alex Reynolds dropped his match at 174 to 4
th-ranked Munoz. The Vikings would drop the following two matches, and Hagan would win by a decision, just a point shy of tying things up for the Vikings as they fell 18-17.
