DES MOINES, IOWA – The second-ranked Vikings returned to Sisam Arena for the first time since last November. The Vikings wouldn't disappoint in their first home dual in over a year. The Vikings would win nine of ten bouts, cruising to a convincing win over the Jackets, 48-6.
Opening the dual for the Vikings was No. 2
Aden Reeves. Reeves would make quick work of Delgado, earning a tech fall victory, 21-5, and a quick five points towards the Vikings' total.
Luke Fogleman would collect his way to another Viking tech fall after racking up back points.
Kyle Rice would almost have Ryan Anderson near pinning position; eleven seconds into the second period, Rice would pin his Jacket to put the Vikings ahead, 16-0. Top-ranked
Blake Gonzalez would pick up another six points for the Vikings with a first-period pin. GVU dropped 165, but No. 6
Justin McCunn would grab Grand View five more points on the board with his tech fall victory, the Vikings third of the dual. 4

Alex Reynolds showed a dominant performance, showing heavy on top as he worked his way to another Viking TF. A chippy match between
Caleb Swalla and KJ Fry would come down to the wire, but following Swalla's double leg takedown, he would control the match resulting in a major decision, 12-4. 3
rd ranked
Owen Braungardt would win by a forfeit on the GU side. Top-ranked
Greg Hagan solidified a pin in the opening seconds over Fleming to give Grand View the 48-6 victory over the Jackets, keeping them undefeated at home.

The 2nd ranked Vikings will pick things back up quickly back in Sisam Arena. They host 13th-ranked Missouri Valley College on Friday, with action kicking off on the mat at 7:00 p.m.
